More and more it’s looking like we may be able to at least turn Obama into a lame duck if not expel him from office after the November elections.

The U. K. Financial Times reports: “Barack Obama’s Democratic party faces a series of dramatic defeats at every level of government in Washington and beyond in the November midterm elections, according to leading analysts and opinion polls. The University of Virginia’s widely monitored Crystal Ball will on Wednesday forecast sweeping setbacks on Capitol Hill and the loss of a clutch of state governorships on November 2. It follows a Gallup poll that showed the Republicans with a 10 percentage point lead over the Democrats – the widest margin in 68 years. Separately, a University of Buffalo paper has predicted a 51-seat gain for Republicans in November.”

Long time liberal extremist Senator Barbara Boxer will likely be defeated by the former CEO of Hewlett-Packard, Carly Fiorina according to the latest poll by SurveyUSA. Rand Paul holds a 15 percent lead over the Democrat in his race to be a Senator from Kentucky. And Tea Party candidate Sharon Angle has gone from being an unknown to a tie with Democrat Senate majority (for now) leader Harry Reid. (more…)

It is common knowledge that so-called “hate crime” laws are intended solely for use against heterosexual White males, but this society refuses to admit that fact, and sometimes that can lead to embarrassing situations.

The Des Moines Register reports: “Des Moines police investigators are unable to confirm that weekend violence outside the Iowa State Fairgrounds was racially motivated, officials said Wednesday – shifting away from written reports and public statements made by officers after the melee. ‘We don’t want to jump to conclusions,’ Lt. Joe Gonzalez said. It is not the standpoint of the police department right now to say that it’s racially motivated. We are following up and continually talking to the victims. The statements were a change from earlier in the week, when a police official said it was very possible race was a factor in the incidents. A report filed by Sgt. Dave Murillo said there were 30 to 40 people roaming the fairgrounds openly referring to ‘beat whitey night.’ ” (more…)

Bad economy, squandering of billions, Gulf Oil Spill and Amnesty all hang over Democrats’ heads.

An article on Politico.com reports “Top Democrats are growing markedly more pessimistic about holding the House, privately conceding that the summertime economic and political recovery they were banking on will not likely materialize by Election Day. In conversations with more than two dozen party insiders, most of whom requested anonymity to speak candidly about the state of play, Democrats in and out of Washington say they are increasingly alarmed about the economic and polling data they have seen in recent weeks.”

The truth is that Democrats have made things worse. Bush dropped a subprime mortgage crisis in Obama’s lap. Obama responded by squandering $787 billion on his “Stimulus Plan” which appears to have done nothing to create jobs. One million foreclosures are forecast for 2010. An average of three banks are failing every week. The real unemployment rate is about 20 percent and the admitted unemployment has reached 9.6 percent. California, Illinois and New York are on the verge of bankruptcy. (more…)

Now, this one is just plain weird. The Smoking Gun website reports: “The Department of Justice is seeking to hire linguists fluent in Ebonics to help monitor, translate, and transcribe the secretly recorded conversations of subjects of narcotics investigations, according to federal records. A maximum of nine Ebonics experts will work with the Drug Enforcement Administration’s Atlanta field division, where the linguists, after obtaining a DEA Sensitive security clearance, will help investigators decipher the results of telephonic monitoring of court ordered nonconsensual intercepts, consensual listening devices, and other media.”

So the Black underclass has not only failed to assimilate (as anyone with a brain could have predicted); they have drifted so far apart from Whites that their language is becoming incomprehensible to law enforcement personnel. (more…)

Blagojevich Trial Could Draw in Rahm Emanuel and Obama.

What goes together like beer and pretzels or Lindsay Lohan and rehab? Chicago and corruption, of course! Since the days of Bathhouse John Coughlin through the St. Valentine’s Day massacre and the 1968 Democrat presidential election,the Windy City has provided connoisseurs of crime and corruption with an unending feast of sleaze. Now we’ve got the Blago and Barry Scandal.

An article from TheHill.com reports: “Former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich said Sunday that he would call a host of high-profile witnesses — including White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel — to testify if he is retried on corruption charges. Blagojevich, in a combative interview on ‘Fox News Sunday,’ said he was ready for a second trial on charges that he tried to sell President Barack Obama’s former Senate seat. Federal prosecutors have vowed to retry Blagojevich after a jury deadlocked on all but one of 24 criminal counts the government brought against the fiery Democrat.”

For those who haven’t seen him, Blagojevich looks like a bad Elvis impersonator with a brown squirrel curled up on top of his head. (more…)

Seems like the Democrats just can’t keep their fingers out of the cookie jar now that they control Congress and the presidency. They don’t seem to care even when the circumstances are totally egregious and when their risk of exposure is almost certain. It’s like the Democrat Party doesn’t even care anymore. The electoral college gives a heavy weight to states with huge, minority-heavy cities. The Dems think they’ve got the votes to win the Presidency for good now, and so why shouldn’t they shove their snouts right into the trough and gobble up as much of that wonderful money as they can?

A recent news article reports: “President Barack Obama’s push for a national health care overhaul is providing a financial windfall in the election offseason to Democratic consulting firms that are closely connected to the president and two top advisers. Coalitions of interest groups running at least $24 million in pro-overhaul ads hired GMMB, which worked for Obama’s 2008 campaign and whose partners include a top Obama campaign strategist. They also hired AKPD Message and Media, which was founded by David Axelrod, a top adviser to Obama’s campaign and now to the White House. AKPD did work for Obama’s campaign, and Axelrod’s son Michael and Obama’s campaign manager David Plouffe work there.The firms were hired by Americans for Stable Quality Care…”

During the fraudulent 2008 Presidential election, almost half a billion dollars appeared in Obama’s campaign war chest. Does anyone believe that this much money came from Blacks, hippy re-treads and starry-eyed Valley Girls, hot for Obongo. I don’t buy it, not by a long shot. The money that turned up in Obama’s campaign chest wasn’t a gift, and somebody expects to get paid back, big time. (more…)

Remember that withdrawal from Iraq that Obama announced a sort time ago. It was bull. The troops are still there. Obama lied again. During the bogus 2008 presidential election, Obama said he would withdraw US troops from Iraq. Despite Obama’s theatrics, our troops are still sitting in desert bases outside the big Iraqi cities in case the insurgents threaten to overrun the local police force.

The Army Times reports: “As the final convoy of the Army’s 4th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, based at Fort Lewis, Wash., entered Kuwait early Thursday, a different Stryker brigade remained in Iraq. Soldiers from the 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team of the 25th Infantry Division are deployed in Iraq as members of an Advise and Assist Brigade, the Army’s designation for brigades selected to conduct security force assistance.” So while the ‘last full U.S. combat brigade’ has left Iraq, just under 50,000 soldiers from specially trained heavy, infantry and Stryker brigades will stay, as well as two combat aviation brigades. Compared with the 49,000 soldiers in Iraq, there are close to 67,000 in Afghanistan and another 9,700 in Kuwait, according to the latest Army chart on global commitments dated Aug. 17.” (more…)

California is coming closer and closer to implosion. It may beat Illinois yet as the first American state simply to collapse under the weight of the Obama Depression and the burden of a non-White majority. Bloomberg News reports: “California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger said 150,000 government workers must begin taking time off without pay starting Aug. 20 following a court ruling lifting an injunction temporarily blocking the furloughs. The California Supreme Court, saying it would review the governor’s plan, stayed decisions by lower courts that had halted the furloughs. Schwarzenegger directed state workers to take three unpaid days off each month to save cash. The high court set a Sept. 8 hearing on a challenge to the order.”

The furloughs -by the way- are the most wimpy measure to deal with California’s problems. Scwarzenegger is also looking at reducing nearly 200,000 workers to minimum wage. Unfortunately deporting or making life uncomfortable for millions of illegal aliens appears to be off the table. (more…)
